just an update, had a full 60k service done on my car even though its only done 55k had pollen filter, oil filter, fuel filter cam belt, fan belt and oil change done also had air con topped up and coolent changed all for £425 my mate is a grease monkey so does mates rates :) cars running nicely now.

Hi mate this was more than I was expecting :) thought maybe 220 max. When I had dyno sat it came out as 202bhp and 280lbs torque speaking to Jabba Kev said it was low result because it looked like from printout that wheels had spun on p-torques rollers. Well today Kev was proved right. Really happy with map Jabba have done :)

The power does look good, but to me, it seems the power drops off far too early towards the end of the rev range, i would prefer my max power to be at like 4500rpm

Its a diesel mate we sacrafice HP at high revs for torque. You can get diesels to peak power at high revs but would be smokey as hell. mine is a nice clean map with rocket power torque delivered really smoothly. Will at p-torque was impressed with my map. :funk:

hybrid

Hi mate i got a 56 plate ibiza fr 1.9 tdi and i bought a stage 2 hybrid pd150, having trouble with the turbo inlet pipe, not having alot of room and air con pipe very close did you have this problem and what turbo inlet pipe did you use. cheers

Hi mate i had Jabba sports fit my turbo and forge intercooler but from what I know it's still original pipe. Just bolted straight on. Got my turbo from flee bay it was off a golf tdi. Well worth doing mod as mine is running 230bhp and 350lbs torque.

I was driving home last Thursday and engine just cut out. So i called Aa and had to wait 5 hours freezing cold till they came out and Towed me home. Next morning I had mechanic look at it there was no error codes that he or Aa man could read so I got proper car electrician to have a look and it had a cam sensor out of range error. Cam belt was nice and tight and from what we could see had no visible damage. It was only changed four months ago. So I ordered new cam sensor. Fitted that still won't start it turns over fine but won't fire up. Checked fuel was getting to filter all ok. Then by pure chance noticed 6 teeth sheered off cam belt ! Omg ! So it's now been towed to seat dealer to be looked at. Just hope all it needs is new cam belt and timing reset. So stressed at mo love my car.

Shame to hear about the belt mate, the cars a beast though!
I'd love to have a go in a hybrid diesel!

nice thread, sounds like the belt may have been tensioned too much, half a tooth misaligned will cause the engine not to start, a quick test to check if it is timing is spray SOME not too much brake cleaner into intake of engine whie trying to crank (get someone to help you) and if it fires you know its timing because it is not getting fuel delivered at correct time...

cheers mate, yeah it goes really well. (well it used to until last thursday) I had phone call from dealers and they are doing cam belt change for £420 !! they also said the EGR valve is leaking oil and needed changing ? Should have been done by today but they had to wait for parts, hopefully if engine not damaged i will be getting it back for a cost of £720 including wiper blades, rear squirter, cam belt kit and egr valve. So another night of worry.
