Update - 21 /09/2010 + PH Rolls Royce Meet

Hi all
First off had the rolling road at JKM acheived 178.5bhp and 295lb/ft - nice straight power curve - very smooth all the way to 5000 rpm

Added some additions - Whiteline RARB, Seat Sport Strutbrace, Cupra handbrake cover, Chrome gear surround with new seat sport gearknob (ebay deal!)

On the engine bay front just replaced vacumn pipes with blue silicon.
Was looking into the coolant hoses but i never realised how many there were
Oh well hopefully forge can get there kit ready soon

8 Pot 330mm Kit with Ksport Street pads £680.00 - ex vat

Or 312 Carriers and callipers with uprated discs and pads

Also spacers for the rear - thinking 20mm - is there a massive weight difference between the alloy H&R and the normal steel hubcentric spacers?

New wheels!

Change of wheels - what do you think?

Might get them refurbed and colour coded - blue? black? not sure


Also managed to change my speedo cluster over with one from ebay - the usual 7 dial faults
Speedo problems, fuel guage problems, coolant flashing!!

Got off ebay for 100 and fitted myself with vag.com

Also door lock problem - where the drivers door wasnt recognising being open

Found lock mechanism on ebay from 07 ibiza for £27 spent many hours of but got there in the end.

That's mental! I'm surprised I've never seen your car on the site before. I'm round the back in car park 1500 - work for a small lab round in 1500.

The koni kit is a lot better than standard - i still have my teeth!!!
It still quite firm but a lot more forgiving than the standard
The front drop is perfect but the back could do with dropping a tiny bit more but ive been 4 and 5 up and had no issues with bottoming out at all.

I havent taken it on the track yet but with the arb and strut brace cornering is massively improved

Quick update - wheels being refurb tommorow in anthercite so should look the dogs!!
Only think can't find seat centre caps that match the colour so have got audi ones on the way. Oh well!

Alright Tom? Good choice of colour for your new wheels. I think I prefer the TSWs though if I'm honest! Have you sold the TSWs yet? Maybe you could keep them and put some winter tyres on them?

The TSW`s are great but lots of spoke to clean - lol
Nah just fancied a change thats all
Going for the proper rs6 look
Still got the wheels - few people interested in them but nothing concrete
Might keep them and use them for track day rubber instead - im not fussed about snow tryes - i havent had any problems in my yokahoma`s just take it easy
Luck i dont live near any big hills

Not been out TBH. Struggled to get up the slight incline of my drive to the garage the other day though. Swept the snow and ice off and it was fine.
