Awesome Bill It worked a treat that did..

I Started last night at around 8pm ish as i needed it back on the road for the weekend...So i got the Old one off and then on and got the 3'' Tip all Plumbed in But i needed some Hose so i called it a day at 2.40am this morning.

So i bought some Flexy Hose and a 13 to 19mm reducer and it came this morning which was super fast to say the least...

Anyway with it all on and had no leaks i took it for a spin the morning and the actuator is well out so i needed to get it all setup...So a quick Trip to the SCN RR Day at awesomeGTI i got it Revo Stage 1 Mapped but they Set the map to 0 Timing & Lowest Boost setting as the actuator needed Fettling..So they could actually log it..

So a quick cool down at awesomegti i fettled the actuator abit more and its still way out but im getting 21psi at 5.3krpm So i need to move it abit more in,...But Jesus When Boost hits eventaully Is really good fun...

nice to meet a few new faces there..

On a yellow actuator spring you need it on its minimum setting, just enough tension to take up the slack of the actuator flap movement. When there is no loose play left in the movement its done. Past this the more you tighten it the more it will feck your tune up. if your not boosting high enough its because your revo software isn't requesting any more and the n75 is killing boost correctly.

Its Either Not boosting till 5krpm or its boosting way to high...But ive nearly got there with it now 4th gear runs and im peaking 24psi but its still too high so later il knock it back a tiny bit and do it again....

If its too loose it wont boost to late so hence why its gotta be finaly tune'd

Turn the timing up Dan. Most stage 1 leons run around timing 8. This will help get the car going earlier. Just log it as you are increasing the timing.

So timing Helps the Car spool/Come On Boost earlier..

I Did some Faffing tonight,Its on Boost at 4,300krpm @ 12psi then Full boost (20psi) around 5,000krpm which by then it pulls extremely Hard....Very Hard Indeed...

I Spoke to John this afterNoon and Timing Was defo Set @ 0 and boost a 6(default) just so i didnt melt thinks as We couldn''t log it as the actuator wasn't Set;...
I can't see the wastegate being too loose Or even slightly loose but if i wide it in abit i get Boost around 2.3krpm but it Peaks a tad more..

Would it be worth While just turning it 1/2 a thread See what happens?

why so stiff an actuator? way way way to stiff for anyones off the shelf software to try and control on n75

Big Thanks to bill & Alexl for helping me out on this

I done some miles tonight adjusting the actautor and i got it sitting firm a 20psi in 4th and 18psi in 3rd..now its starting to spool in 4th from 2.3rpm and builds boost till around 4krpm ish....But when it acheives Peak Boost Its Rather Rapid...

If the actuator was Loose/slack it wouldnt hold or create boost at all?Now im going awesomeGti tomorrow to have my Settings put on which should Help thinks...

If my timing Setting was on 0 which it is...would that cause it to take time to spool ect...If the default setting is 8+ for the timing...

Don't Get me wrong its fast once on boost...120+ comes round rather quick...

I went to awesomeGti today to have my Settings put on but after Talking to Dean And AL i Desided to Go stage 2 Revo instead..
But with me not logging and not knowing the situ of my laggyness it was a chance i had to make...Anyway with timing 7,Boost 9 & fuel 8 its made 270bhp & 277ft-lb @ 20psi with it running the way it was with 0 cfs....So i was missing around 140ft-lb mid-range and around 10bhp too....

So the next step was too Set the actuator in 4th to 24psi and it defo has improved the punch of it but its still laggy and mid range isnt there...Jim Peaked my Leon's G/s at 213g/s which i thought wernt bad.

So i know its not the actuator but im gonna return to my Forge tip to rule things out...then take it from there.

Some Pictures & videos as well as an Rolling Road Graph to show you whats happening..
