Right Luke, which LED lights have you got in the golf mk4 interior light? Unfortunately my usual sidelights don't work (8 x SMD), and my other pair have died. I have a couple which stay on when driving (which is bloody annoying) and then another random one which doesn't. Do yours stay alight, or do they completely turn off when not used?

Map lights are 2x error free 194 W5W bulbs & the main bulb is a LED light (can't remember which, just an eBay job).

I think they look good on the FR, not sure about the standard models though...

As for the bonnet bra, i think they look ****, but thats just my opinion. Like a black bag stuck to the front of the car imo

Porsche Twists

As for bonnet bra's, aesthetic appeal, don't see the point. As said, why would you want to wrap your car in a cow? Functional use however, wish I had one, might've helped the dented bonnet I have now [:@]

hmm not sure on the porsche twists....just another alloy idea. might go for some multi-spoke aftermarket ones, but any OEM ideas would be nice :)

The Porsche twists would look dreadful without lowering. Sorry, had to be said.

Audi S3 Mk1 alloys would fit the Ibiza (with 205/40/17 tyres) and look good IMO.

As for a bonnet bra, unless you've got a badly stone chipped bonnet there's no point, bonnet bras trap water under the bra and cause nasty scratches and water marks, you've got a freshly painted bonnet so why would you do that?

Took me around 2 hours to do 2 calipers and 2 drums. That involved scrubbing them up first and wiping down with pre paint, masking off whole disk and damper etc, then spray (2 coats) then leave to dry for 30 mins then put wheel back on!

Simple and effective mod. I sprayed mine black to tidy them up.

Make sure to invest in a set of axel stands first, using the widow maker standard jack will kill ya soon enough!

Prep first by using a wire brush and brake cleaner/pre-paint. Hammerite is best for the job as it's temperature resistant. Only available in red, black, yellow, gold, white, blue and silver I think....not sure though... Comes in paint or spray, whichever is easier for you.

Black for drums to hide the rustiness, and red on front would look awesome. Please don't do the drums in red/other colour apart from black....various people on SCN have done it and I've seen some in real life, and they look awful...
