I've got a video of it on warm up mode and normal idle and the revs are dead steady now I've fitted my OEM throttle bodie and 3bar but its still missfiring...
I'm going todo a compression test tomorrow and check the wiring on the coilpacks...
Right i went to my local motor factors this morning and bought a compression tester which was pretty cheap...
Anyway i let the engine warm up to 90degrees water temp(gauge) then took out the spark plugs & coilpacks and unplugged the injectors then screwed the gauge in by hand..
I then turned it over with the throttle body fully open(wot) for atlease 10-15secs....
Now im not sure weather the guage is accurate or it was leaking but like i sad these are my poor results im also uploading a video of it on warm up mode also im getting a slight knock/rattle every so often on the gearbox side were the DMF would sit....It doesnt knock with increase engine revs just a tiny bit on idle...
Danny, may sound daft but how long is it since the engine has run after the belt failed? Maybe lack of oil in the hydraulic lifters causing them to stick open/closed slightly?
that could easily be the case then mate, no oil in the lifters for 2 months is well enough to make them stick! I've had this issue with k series engines after a week with no oil let alone 2 months! have you tried holding the engine at 2.5-3k for 10 minutes or so to see if it clears?
are all the vac pipes/fpr pipe on the right way? disconnect the vaccum and try it, if its the same then its nothing vacuum related, if its ok maybe a pipe somewhere. Also have you measured fuel pressure?
Try just holding the revs between 2-3.5k when engine warm at a stand still danny. With such low compression on all cylinders this definitely sounds like the lifters are sticking!
