thanks Mike it's nearly there now, few more little bits to do and I think thats it for me. For now anyways lol. Just had a look at the new pictures of your car on your RR I love that candy White and those land rover wheels really finish it off. Fair play to you mate that's one sweet ride .

Sweet! Yeah I think I'll def get one in the future, I've only had the forge tip for a few months so I will enjoy it in the meantime but will get the badger 5 tip next .

Looking to replace the standard dogbone mount.

Question is do I just repace the bushes or buy the whole mount?

I was looking at buying the THS FR3 dogbone which is £65 but if I buy the bushes it's a lot cheaper

What does everyone else have/recommend?

its really upto you m8. with bushes you will get a bit more vibration in the cabin, with the ths dogbone mount its not a poly bush, there made form a better compound of rubber and you will get no vibrations in the cabin.

Ah ok cool cheers mate, yeah I'll just go with the THS mount then. I just wanted to figure out what the extra cash was going on get paid on Friday so just working out what to buy before I get paid lol!

cool, yeah the bonnet is not too bad. needs some elbow grease with polish to get it up to standard. little stone chip needs seeing to as you can see the metal but i will sort that.

Sweet I'm sure you'll get it super shinny £50 you cant go wrong can you and like you said before if it is bad enough you always had it in your head for a respray. You get those pics of the FMIC with the foglights in then?

Going to go buy some of that autosol tomorrow so I can do some polishing after work

Cheers mate, yeah I'm really happy with it, looks so much better than it did when I first bought it. Only problem is the more I come on the forum the more my list grows to do more lol. I'll have to show you the car when we go out on Friday .

Really nice looking motor mate, loving all the shiny bits and attention to detail, I'm a bit crazy OCD on the cleaning too it's perfectly normal, can 't decide on my bay tho?? There seems to be a bit of a crew in Bristol now I've just moved here too be good to meet up some time... 4 car photo shoot

Update -loads of little bits and bobs

Right I've been a bit lazy updating my thread in the last couple of weeks so thought it was about time to sort it out. Nothing major just a bit if tidying up making things like new .

First off I did my key a few months ago, I replaced the whole case and badge:

Next I did a bit off polishing, got a bit carried away with the autosol, brilliant stuff I love it:

Painted my dipstick:

Replaced my boost hose jubilee clips because the hoses started slipping off. Bought the new ones from Forge and there so much better.

Sorted out my low wonkey looking exhaust:

After, not 100% happy with it but it does look better:

Refurbed my steering wheel again, wasnt 100% happy with it the first time round:

Much happier with the wheel now, and I also scrubbed down all the stitching on the wheel,gator, and handbrake thanks to a bowl of hot water washing tablet and my misses toothbrush she wasn't happy but i was, it looks mint now.

Thats it for now I will have another update soon as I'm waiting for a package in the post .

And also I have had a promotion at work this week so that means more goodies for the car

Yeah my OCD gets worse by the day i swear I'm terrible, never want to take the car out of my garage anymore so it doesn't get dirty lol.

Bristol crew looks like its going to start growing now. Yeah my mate has just bought one the other week and I meet up with Sam Bryant a lot he's a top bloke and has been an absolute life saver only problem is he makes me want to spend a lot of money on my car lol.

Def all have to meet up soon would be good to get all the Bristol LCR's together .
