Little Update

Well since my seat bolster had more or less collapsed, I decided to rectify it by digging into my original 8v passenger side seat. As expected, the bolsters were mint. So I dis assembled both seats as follows;

Carefully prised off the fabric to reveal the foam and frame;

Removed fabric to reveal a fresh (10yr old) bolster (big improvement over the last!);

Anyway, went about lowering my car some more, dropped it another 25-30mm on the rear, and another 10-15mm up front;

Even on the 8v standard wheels, already sits nicer imo. Once the ronals are fitted, spaced another 5mm on the rear, and camber sorted up front. :);

Oh and got a little bored, and since my mate's done it - I thought "what the hell";

looks awesome lad! really looks good in white :)

Cheers lads. Arun - I know, they're on and off like my pants :funk:. But they serve their purpose in this rather humid / wet weather (with no air con) :p

looking good Llyr. got to do my passenger seat because when i broke that polo for the engine both passenger and drivers seat are ejector style so thought it would be a cheap little mod to make both mine ejector style. was the material easy enough to take off the frame?

How good do the Alpine White Mk2's look when they are spotless?! :p

Car is looking awesome mate, and I like the wheels you have on but the Ronals will look great aswell!! Colour coded Ronals :whistle:.

Think I need to cut my splitter holes/vent bits out aswell. It looks really good. And good work on the seats!!

Looks good Lily, I got like a bag full of lego pieces, when I was making caps, should of said, would of threw some your way, gave them my niece now lol

I have SOO much lego! It's unreal! I literally have (you know the Tesco bags for life?) like 4 bags worth, ha!

Phil, now THAT's an idea! I could use the variable height driver's frame on the passenger side too! How hard would it be to swap over the lever to the other side, so they correspond?... hmm!

someone promised me a set of these but not seen them yet SUJ!!!! ;)

Oh yes I do, I had a set for you dude, if not I will have to see if I got any white ones left ;) lol

Wouldn't it be on the wrong side the adjuster? lol

Hmm, well if I could weld, it's be pretty easy to swap around I'd imagine. And fabricate the opposite of the lever. But just so the seat raises on the passenger side too, I dunno. Not much point :(
