Hello,
I'm new to the forum and apologise that this question has already appeared several times but I still cannot find a definitive answer for my specific vehicle, either online or from Seat who didn't reply to my email. So I'm looking for advice from anyone who has the same model and can shed some light for me. I have just bought a 2018 Leon TSI 1.4 fr, obviously no spare wheel, in fact not even a tyre inflator just an empty foam insert. I'm looking for the cheapest option for a spare. The car has the factory17inch rims. What space saver diameter do I need? 16 or 17 inch? Some folk are even suggesting 18 inch. It is my understanding the 16 inch profile means it has the same rolling diameter as the actual wheels so in theory should be fine but is there issues with caliper/disk clearance? Or is the boot well sufficiently sized to accomodate a proper full sized wheel?
Many Thanks
Steve
