Just got in mine tonight and popped up and said software update available. I selected update and it completed, however not actually sure what it updated as it is still on 1804

No OTA (Over the Air) update will change the version number from v1804 to another. Only a dealer installed update will change version numbers.

Yes, because the fixes are supposed to come in 1810/1890

Yep, lots of people been suffering with this .. including myself. It is supposedly down to the software version, thinking driving on the otherside of the road. Supposed to be updated in the latest software update (not sure when though)

It also doesn’t like to undertake cars, even though this is permitted in certain scenarios.

Mine does it too,the only issue I have had with the car....it means you cannot realistically use active cruise control as you are having to override it constantly on the motorway.
Frankly this should have been fixed before it went into production.
Had a Subaru xv before the formentor and its active cruise was years ahead of the vag group cars...plus it actually worked.

My update over the air is stuck on searching for anything - nothing, just spinning wheel for hour and a half, no matter if it's esim or though my phone as a hot spot - any advice how I can push that?
I'm still on 1672 :/

You will only get an over the air update when it is prompted on your sceeen (you would see the red dot top right). Doing a search won’t bring anything up mate, major updates are dealer job.

Thanks! Dealer told.me that the car is on its latest version but software update is done only over the air and the button should trigger something. I got a visit next Wednesday as they said something is blocking it but I wanted to explore every option before handing over the car

Picked my V2 150 up today after dropping it in for repeat screen freezing issues on the 1803 software and it came back with the 1890:

Not had chance to test it yet but it didn't freeze on the 20min drive home so that's a good start!

Were you suffering from the AAC issues, with regard to overtaking. If so, that is what I would like to understand if has been fixed

I've never used cruise control so can't confirm on that issue I'm afraid.

Apparently 1890 is now available.
Hopefully those with it installed can confirm what it has fixed.

The only bug I have heard of so far is that the fan symbol for AC has been replaced with the word "CLIMA"

I have my updated being installed this week on Wednesday and will follow up with another post as I will use ACC on the way home.

Hoping it fixes the issues.

And the screen freeze is back. Hoped software v1890 might fix it but nope. Ugh, this is easily the most frustrating car I've ever owned.

Car was in for its first service today and I asked for the update to be done.
Thankfully the guy at reception knew about this

Just had the call saying service done but the update has not as its been pulled form their system as 1896 is getting released this week!

Anyone in the know or am I getting fobbed off?

Said I expect the car to be in this week when update is available and not having to wait for months for an appointment.

I did see somewhere on here someone had 1896 installed as a test version. Might have been @East Yorkshire Retrofits, so you might not be getting fobbed off.

Which dealer was it out of interest, as I know you are in my neck of the woods and mine is going in for the update and a couple of other bits in three weeks time.

Here's a question for you, lads and lasses... apparently my motor is en route to the UK, with an ETA of next week sometime. Will it already have the latest software version uploaded in the factory, or does the dealer update the software on arrival at their showroom? Ta.
