A couple of people have posted in other threads about bricked head units after the update. I wonder if they’ve paused pushing it out.

Yeah, did spot that ... will not be impressed if they have left it in an useable state with no voice control

My second update of 1.7GB has started, 2 days after the first.

Initial thoughts: I haven’t checked ACC yet but Apple CarPlay seems to connect much quicker and navigating around menus seems much smoother. That’s it

Has anyone noticed that since this remote update, the ability to have the Stop/Start and Lane Assist turn on/function has disappeared from the initial /// screen. You now need to tap the car icon and go into it. Not major but still a little annoying. ACC is still shite. Still reads some motorway signs as 110 and slid over my own testicles when it read an overtaking vehicle as a hazard…. please tell me there is a way to resolve…..

I signed up to Seat Connect which was free for the first year. The update just appeared on my cars screen, pulled in via the onboard eSIm.

Not sure if you need the Connect package for it to work?

Mine updated and have a lapsed subscription, so you don’t need to pal for it mate. It’ll do it automatically once you set it running

Dealer update for ACC module needed
This is literally a radio / head unit update only

Had this update on Friday, head unit has been crashing every 2 minutes repeatedly since - can’t use it at all - anybody know of a fix without having to take it in to a dealership?

Voice control seems to activate with just one Hola now, instead of the two (Hola Hola) before. Now we get Manuel chipping in every time we mention my sons dog Lola whereas Maria left us alone....

Have had to turn voice activation off as he's pretty keen to chip in anyway!

The chap inside my dash now butts into any conversation without invitation. He is very unwelcome.

Not sure your second point is correct (about it being 1896 when fully updated OTA). I have version A896 and voice control back after second update - see below photo

It's been 3 days now with no further updates and still on A896 *with* voice control back again.

The full update will end up on 1896. A896 is the stop gap

I had the dealer update to 1896 and that does seem to have sorted the ACC issues.

I have since had 2 big over the air updates as well.

I am experiencing the voice control cutting in a lot now though which is a pain.

My car was built in mid March, I have SW 1890, I have noticed the voice control activate when having conversation, mines due at the dealer on the 6th unless it pops up before that.

You can see which car is stopping you over/undertaking in the cockpit travel assist screen. It's the car that's highlighted brighter than the others. In my case, that car is sometimes on the left of me (not in front) in a legitimate (RHD) overtake position, which given the car is highlighting as an undertake-do-not-pass, suggests it is indeed a programming issue not a sensor inadequacy. Have a video of it somewhere I showed to a technician after they denied the problem existed.
I tried using the Cockpit Travel Assist on the motorway last night, for about an hour all in, and the car had no occurrence of the undertaking issue. In fact no vehicle appeared on the screen either side of the 'lane' I was travelling in. This is using A896, so I'm not sure if vehicles would have appeared either side of my lane previously as I've not used that screen / view before.

Mmm! Strange. I'm running 1890 and mine shows the cars either side of me on that screen.
