If you can't turn on Wi-Fi in your SEAT Arona, first check if the feature is enabled in the settings. It could also be that you have the latest version of the My SEAT app installed and the app is correctly connected to your vehicle. If problems persist, contact MySEAT Customer Service.

Troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Wi-Fi settings:
Open the infotainment system in your SEAT Arona.
Navigate to Settings.
Look for Wi-Fi options.
Make sure the Wi-Fi connection is enabled.
2. Update the My SEAT app:
Make sure you have the latest version of the My SEAT app installed on your smartphone.
Go to the App Store or Play Store and update the app.
3. Check the connection to My SEAT:
Make sure you are logged in with the correct My SEAT account.
Check that the email address, phone number, or username are correct.
4. Activate Wi-Fi hotspot:
In the SEAT Arona, you can set up a Wi-Fi hotspot to connect devices wirelessly.

Your vehicle's owner's manual may contain detailed instructions.
5. Check Full Link technology:
If your vehicle supports Full Link, make sure data transfer for SEAT apps is enabled.

It is important that your smartphone supports either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

If the above steps do not help, contact MySEAT Customer Service for further assistance.

Tell us when we stop going round in circles on this one. It falls into an early fix with early models of mib3 in Seat Cupra but after that the basis of the warnings apply. Seat decided they wanted to extract money out of customers for AAW. One of those hidden eggs where coding could give you something for free. So the threads good with the initial tip but not on later infotainment units. That's how I summarise what's going on.

Software configuration changes required, I won't repeat them as it's all mentioned in this thread. If it isn't working then it likely isn't configured properly as your car does support it

The thread only applied to H56 and H57 units. Yours is H58. Any changing of the units licences can only be done with Vag equipment via a licence as mentioned on the thread. You need to find a retrofitter using fully licenced Vag equipment. Dealers are unlikely to touch it since it's outside their remit. Your VIN number would be used to identify which unit you actually have installed but the picture does reveal. Unofficial hacking of MIB units stopped with the introduction of mib3 then tightened up.

You can update the navigation database off line outside connect services. See the Leon 4 part of the board for that. Radio logo, a hiatus exists on the Seat / Cupra ones for offline update. Firmware outside of connect services some limited limited success of using the cars wifi to pickup incremental updates and obtain the logos that way. Firmware and logos are offered via connect services. Large firmware updates can only be done by dealers in some instances. Firmware being offered outside of Vag authorised dealers and processes has been clamped up on. The modus operandi is via paid connect services.

It's where people buy second hand cars or dont fully research what they are buying they end up stuck with something that isn't what they wanted or the local market doesn't sell it. Tightening up on licenses via encryption of the entry point to the back end snookered those that thought a coding device would get them in. All the mib2 toolboxes use a hack that Vag slammed shut with mib3. The in car green menu ones. They guy that did much of the tool box work has retired 🫢. Chillout... so he told me if he is the same one and the github mib3 link is empty for a tool box.
