Hello friends,

I’ve got the issue with one of the front sensors not working. It seems to be the second one from left, and therefore a painted one…

Two questions :)

Where do I find the article number?
How do I change it without removing the whole bumper?

Color is magnetic tech grey (I think).

Thank you!

Give it a spray of WD-40 and let it soak in. These sensors often fail due to moisture ingress, and WD-40 is a moisture repellent.

The WD-40 treatment worked for me. A couple of weeks ago I was driving in heavy rain after dark and when I got home and turned into my driveway my front parking sensors went crazy. Sprayed the sensors liberally with WD-40 and they’ve been fine ever since.

Thanks! Tried to spray it twice, but no difference :(
Darn! It was worth a shot. I assume that you have cleaned the sensor? If you have an air line that is useful. If not, try to clean round the sensor with something thin (straw, plastic pry tool etc.). Sometimes dirt / wax polish gets jammed round the sides of the sensor and stops it moving. The sensors should move very slightly making an audible clicking noise. If all that fails, then sadly its a trip to the breakers yard to find a new sensor.
