I think that's the least they can do considering what's happened. They need to get this sorted for you.

crap news mate , i had MK1 Clio 16V and when it was warm whether i use to get a power drop and when it did it used oil, i had it wired upto the moon and tested allot there was no problem yet in cold it never happened do know the feelingHi there friends.
I have no update on my car, other than I think it it has reached the end.
I'm out of luck, money & determination & now I just need to get it home for good.
Nothing has changed, despite my best efforts, so I decided this morning to call it a day.
I'm at a loss in every way, but worst of all my spirit crushed. I've done everything I can, but I'm not made of money.
I hope (even if my car stays on the driveway as a non-runner), I will still be accepted as part of this forum, because you have all been so helpful in trying to get this car off the starting blocks again. I have a heavy heart, but I see no light at the end of the tunnel & so I have to regain some control of it again.
I don't know how I'm going to get it home, because the binding is apparently worse than before.

Finally, after 6 months since the crash I had in February, the car is driveable again and has just passed its MOT. 
I'm now taking it to Poland for a proper rebuild, so hopefully around May/June next year I'll finally have the chance to enjoy it again.
It's been a long road, but we're getting there.

Milltek now fitted as previous exhaust blowing - needed to be done and also just passed MOT.

Non-Res actually - the supplier suggested a few weeks wait for the resonated version. Its marginally noisier than what I believe was the original exhaust though so far only driven it 2 miles to home. Interestingly I was told the cat on it is not the original which I wasnt aware of.
Yes, I think the exhaust that came off may have been the original or if it had been replaced at some point was a genuine Seat part.
As to the cost, via eBay from Roadrunner Motorsport - £528 delivered.
I've no idea if that was a good price, but I'd had it bookmarked for last couple of years in anticipation of needing one.
I've owed the car a bit of work, as I haven't done any big jobs for a couple of years now. When it runs and drives so well, you kind of forget. Got a few advisories I don't want to fix until I've done a big job next week - if it goes south, it might mean scrapping the car, so there's no point doing other jobs before that.
Took the engine cover off to work out how I'm going to do it and noticed my fuel line is cracking.
Thought the bend I made when I put it in was pretty relaxed, so didn't think that it would do that, but it's doing the same thing on the curve where my hand is too, so I'm glad I caught it. I put that one in as I had to replace the OEM one, as they don't make that one anymore - it's shaped and has ninety degree bends and stuff to make it go round the corner to the tandem pump.
Any recommendations on fuel hose? This is just a Halfords one, so I wouldn't expect it to be the best lasting. Could have caused me a few problems if it had given up...

Gates who do the Cam belts do fuel lines i used the pipe were you used it but cut at same length then used a heat gun to warm it up for the bends , just don't go mad on heat, i have changed it twice though since 2012 due to the first one did get cracks but i never warmed up for the bendsI've owed the car a bit of work, as I haven't done any big jobs for a couple of years now. Brake pads are paper thin but not getting the dash light on. Turns out the plug is missing.

Used AI seems it’s right , oh and you can get soilder crimp connectors, crimp and heat up they work well
