Bringing my car in for its 1st year service this month after recently getting the car 9 months old, The car itself has a minor problem of chugging a bit in the low revs so ive asked them to check that out during the service. Just wondering is this covered in the service fee or what?
Yea had a read at that, its intentionally vague tho as most of them things are. Thinking my cars EGR valve may have developed a problem or possibly fuel filter blockage, hoping both these things would be covered in the warranty?
yea, the expense of which you usually don't find out about until you get that phone call from them authorising any repair. when i worked for Ford, i was the person making the call
that is the price for the 1st. naturally wear and tear items won't be under warranty so if your problem falls under that category i would expect to be asked for more depending on what is required to solve the issue.
hence why its incorrect for me to comment as i've not yet experienced these 'characteristics'. i've had low rpm problems in previous cars years ago, easily fixed, but not with vehicles that are relatively new.
Mines on a flexible service, which checking the service book is either 20k or 2 years ... never had a car before that was so long for service. I have hit 16k now in 8 months, so shortly should be getting my first one done
