Night and day difference in favour of the Seat in my opinion. Yes I know the CTR handles really well and would leave the LC for dead on a track, but it's no contest for me. I was thinking of a change a while back and took a 54 plate CTR for a test drive....handled brilliantly but the complete lack of torque and having to thrash it to the readline to make progress was just tiring after half an hour let alone longer.

Got back in my 04 LC for the drive home and instantly realised I'd made the right choice!! And with the extra torque from a remap makes it an even better decision for me!

Main thing is buy the one you personally prefer, but I think the seat will do you well! :D

Edit: my Lc is on 70k and has been remapped since 38k pulls strong and runs better than when it was new so don't worry about the mileage as long as the history is good

I think thats very good money for a facelift cupra with low miles.

Theres a hell of a difference between the pprice of a facelift [52 onwards] and a non facelift.

Prices seem to have crept up over the past 9 months or so,
I was looking for a long time, missed a few and ended up with a mint 52 plate LC.
Paid 4 and a half for it. But I was sure it was the right car!
