2006 Cupra Stereo Upgrade

Hi

Ive jusy bought a new Ibiza Cupra 1.8 20v T. Car is awesome, however the stereo leave a lot be desired. It jumps with copied cds and the radio is poor.

So Im looking to change the head unit to an Alpine IPod ready unit.

Can anybody tell me how to get the head unit out? What sizes are the speakers in the front and back?

Two little slots at the bottom corners, buy some radio keys off ebay , poke them in and push outwards then pull headunit out!!!!

Job done.

and an aerial amp power lead from halfords or similar otherwise your radio reception will be really poor

I have not used an aerial amp and dont find it to be a problem save your self 13 quid pal. Obviousley it will depend on your local area but i coud honestaly notic no diference!

The handle of tea spoons does the trick and is alot cheaper
