Hey guys! Long time no thread! ;)

I have searched as I know Gazjones had done a 312mm fitting guide, how easy is it to change the discs? Is it just a case of normal discs or is it like some of the newer cars where it's all part of the bearings?

Hopefully it's just like the old school discs where you pop the caliper off and undo a + screw and disc comes off? :D

And pictures/fitting guide would be great! Thanks!

if your car already has 288'd it's very easy mod. The Fsiii brakes are part of hubs.

Discs, callper/ carriers and pads is what you need

All the fixtures and fittings are the same? I dont need any other nuts/bolts to those already on my current 288 setup?

nope. Use current hoses aswell. Keeps routing right.

All you need is donor parts - Maybe the screws that hold disc on if the heads are chewed up.

Am I right in thinking the FR doesn't need the carriers, just caliper and discs? Do they use the same pads as the 288's?

aimez I've got the old TT calipers for sale. They are ok and work, but look a bit rusty and a bit weathered. I just wanted new ones cos I'm really anal about stuff looking spot on.

Thanks guys!

I just need the calipers powder coating, then discs and pads. :)

are you saying you have bought some new ones separately then? No one will sell them to me me separately & before anyone else says in the TT shop guy won't either!

Yep - Dave at SERE Motors sent me two new brake calipers - the last two in the UK atm. :D £140 delivered to my door.
