I dont see why you need even bigger brakes on the front...
If you have a 4 pot setup at the front already and uprated back discs, that's plenty for the power you're running! I'm running a hybrid turbo on my diesel Ibiza and I have the 312mm audi TT setup with the single pot caliper and it's fine! That's with standard back brakes too!

Well i love driving uphill and downhill arround here.
My 4pot galfers and rear S3 brakes are fine. I cannot complain about that.
I am going for a BT setup anyways in the future so bigger brakes would be even better.
Lately i logged with vag com my mates ibiza cupra GT35(arround 600 hp)
we were running only 1.55 boost arround 350hp and running 4th gear i could feel the car needed more powerfull brakes. He was running stock pads and discs+hoses in his 4pot galfers but...
I believe brakes, is something we should always have upgraded on our cars (saved myself from crashing to another car 2 times so far, doing 130+km/h on a turn where the car in front was doing less than 50 so had to do late braking....)

And 600bhp is the highest power figure I've ever seen from a 1.8t.....I bet it's totally useless power aswell having 2wd! I know my 380ft/lb of torque spins up at 60mph so.... and that's only 240bhp!

My Yokohama Parada's are very very good in the dry, but not so good in the wet...

They are very good for the rain, unless theres little lakes...then they are dangerous
On the dry they are semi slicks so nothing comes close...
Then again , you live in the UK so you rarely see dry days so i understand your decision.
I dont like the paradas cos they are already an old tyre.
I can get them from camskill for 1/3 than the price i paid for the R888s but still i wanted max grip for those country uphill and downhill runs of mine
Badger...gt35 would be sweet on a 1000kg car...thats for sure....my mates setup (engine setup) cost him 19000 euro!!!
thats like 85% than the original cars price (new)...and he sold it for a leon cupra 2
have to say why would you need more than what the standard AP's are offering. The AP's are good but for sustained track use you do need to upgrade them.
4 thing you should consider -
Firstly the discs - You could try some Nitracs as they cryogenic ones and they can make them to spec.
Secondly pads - you have the usuall suspects such ferodo pads, but you may want to try Carbotechs. They are very very good pads, they come in different levels and some are very aggresive, best bit is they don;t list them for your car you can send them a used set of pads and they will use them as backing. Seen a lot of testing in the time attack and a lot of the mini track cguys swear by them, a mates timeattack car he has shunned 4 pots and stuck with lasrger standard brakes and consentrates on the discs and pads and cooling
thirdly, cooling. Why not remove your foglights and work through some ducting to help cool the brakes. Have'nt seen any kits for the Ibiza yet, but i know again on the Mini you had two choices of kit one from the challenge cars and another available from BMW for 60 quid.
lastly, Fluid and hoses. Fluid is a mjor thing to look at as **** fluid will overheat. Mot people change Dot 5 but don't rule out DOT 4 as cetrtain ones are great ( Porsche run DOT 4 in the GT3 )
so unless its for looks, don;t replace what you have, uprate it. Oh and if there still not suffice then do some driver training as your using the brakes too much....lol

Just received my new XYZ 330x32 6caliper brakes.
They are the latest version redesigned and improved where needed.
They came in a very good packaging, they seem to be of v good quality and i cant wait to get them on my car...
Some pics in comparison with my 312x25 brembo discs and ferodo ds2500 pads.
They came with stock XYZ sports pads...which aint that expensive to replace.
However since i am getting some ds2500 pads for them in the future i will have to pay 350 euros for them...whereas with my stock seat sport calipers my ds 2500 pads would cost me just 120 euros.... ouch....
So every touch on the brake pad means a few euros spent alright lol...
