Millers is a good low cost but go to forum sponsor Opie Oils and they have a oil finder guide there that gives you all your options, including Millers.

I've bought plenty of Fuchs Titan Oil from them.

And a forum discount.

I've got euro car parts Triple QX fully synthetic oil, 5W-30, had no problems with it so far.

Pretty sure as long as its fully synthetic and meets VW specs 504.00 you're good to go..

castrol website recommends edge 0w30 for the bam engine? ive always worried 0 grade is to thin and had issues years ago with mobil 1 0w30 oil rattly engine but fine on 5w30 (cant remember the car it was on and not a seat), thoughts on 0w30?

How can 0W-30 be too thin? It is the same viscosity (30 grade) as the 5W-30 when hot, it’s just not as thick as the 5W-30 when it’s cold. But it is still thicker when cold than when hot, so can’t possibly be “too thin”.

I've gone from 5w30 to 5w40 since remap. 5 litres is lasting between changes at 5000 miles whereas the 5w30 wasn't.
Quantum Platinum off the bay.
