hi, im looking to get a creations motorsport tip for my 1.8t 180 cupra but i want the one with the 80mm maf housing so i can run the larger jetex filter. would i need a remap to use the wider housing or would it be fine using my sensor in the bigger housing on a standard map? thanks

You dont have to have a re map no you can just fit and away you go.To get the full potential from your Tip then I would map it as you will get good gains especially top end pull.I have one and wouldnt go without now stage 2 and it helped me alot she just keeps pulling and pulling :)

Rubbish.

OP has a 70mm MAF housing at the moment, if he switches to an 80mm MAF housing the airflow g/s readings will be out, and affect the fuelling and running.

A tweak to the map will be required ;)

That was my concern. The problem is these cars seem to have generic stage 1, stage 2 maps after you have done certain mods. I want to do a few (decat, tip, filter, maf housing) and map the car.
