There are different ECU's so I guess you'd just have to match the numbers up?

It needs pairing to the car with vag com but other than that yeah a straight swap.

06A 906 032 - AUM
06A 906 018 - AGU

Guess I'll have to remove mine to find out.

Is it underneath the plastic panel where the window wipers are?

Checked underneath and there are 02 sensor wires hanging down.

These need repairing.

Could do, what's the best way to remove an 02 lambda sensor? Apply some heat?

I could provide you 2 pic's so you could find where to repair your ecu (me7.5) card. I had the same problem with an o2 sensor and damaged 996 gt3 ecu.
only I dont know how to insert the pic's to my reply

Lee you mentioned vag com is needed, what is involved? Will it not just work if I plug in and go?

No, the keys are paired to the dash clocks, the ECU is pairing is different, no way around it, you need vag com.

The one on ebay is 06A 906 032 DR

So the numbers match but what do the letters at the end mean?

No idea mate, but the one on ebay with the same number is for the golf AUM lump.

Yeah that's where I found that ECU from

So it's for the Golf but most parts fit the Leon so was hoping it would work.

I'd be sticking to an exact match tbh.

Just gave the seller a call he says as the part number is so similar it should just be a case of a remapper reflashing the ECU software to match my car, and of course install the stage 2 software again.

So I'll give P torque a call see what they can do.
