Youve not done bad at all there fella, im not going to lose hope of the 25weeks reducing (heres hoping). Looking forward to seeing pics of yours, all the st pics that i've seen so far have been magazine shots, they always look gleaming !

I hope your lead time gets reduced. I couldn't hack that.

I did send him an email this morning to ask for the production date, still waiting for the answer...

Got in contact with my dealer today

The Cupra has a production date, the production is in week 16. happy!!!

Thats encouraging. I ordered mine in week 10 so if it follows the same it should be being built sometime in week 18. Will contact the dealer sometime this week to see if they have heard anything from SEAT.

Just had in writing my ST Cupra (std wheels + Pano roof) confirmed build week as being week 17/18, which is approximately the week commencing 27th April, meaning my new car should be with the dealer at the beginning of June which is a result and far better than earlier estimates of August delivery.

This will mean a total delivery wait of around 14 weeks as I placed the order at the end of February, which is much better than originally anticipated.

Incidentally the dealer knows nothing about the issues around standard versus Black pack wheels etc.

Happy for you dude, maybe mine won't be as quoted they are just saying it to be safe. It seems a few of us have ordered in the past few weeks and i seem to be the only one getting told these long lead times. Weird...

Thanks R19, that's kind of you and I hope you get some good news soon. My dealer contacted SEAT Dealer Support yesterday to get the updated information, as prior to that I was told August ie 6 month wait.

I called seat yesterday and was told i'll have a build date confirmed after easter. FYI i was informed they are currently in the process of rolling out a tracking function, similar to VW i believe. Which would make us all happy !

That would be good, though I'm told the VW one isn't that accurate, though I suppose something is better than nothing! :)

Just heard back from my dealer they are saying a build date of mid may! :(
Although they admit it could come earlier or a little later!! So covering their a$$s I think!
