Can the stock LCR wideband lamda sensor at the DP be used with this (VEI)gauge (black wire i believe) and can i assume it will be as accurate as any stand alone probe. Its a ball ache to remove the DP to drill and weld plus this is cheaper.

I know that the standalone probes with Zeitronix kits, for example, use Bosch LSU -4 probes, which are fitted to some cars as standard. It would still need to be connected to the ECU for fuelling and regulation, what do you want to do splice each wire and have it displayed on a VEI gauge?

As far as i can tell the gauge only needs a 0-5v input to measure the AFR so i would connect the power for the gauge under the dash and just run a single cable spliced into the stock DP lambda probe on the 0-5v output which i read is the black one.
