no just the polisher will get the pads next month, I got some advice of Mat Reynolds (guess you remember him?) on what pads to buy as alot of them are cheap but some make a much bigger difference than other ie get what you pay for to some extent. will check out the link cheers got lots of reading up on Detailing World to do anyway so in no rush to start using it really.
ah really wicked glad your back! Everyone else from back in the day all gone now I don't get on the mk4 section much I am on tdi sport which may help you out, the guy that runs it got a mk4 fr some nutters on there I went to some shows with them! You coming to any shows GTI international or edition maybe?

Small update since I got the new wing fitted a bird had a bit poo all down the new wing and the door I removed it within a matter of hours but ti was too ate damage done. I get all the luck huh!?

Apart from the roof all it polished need to wax it but it is hammering down outside. The mark have improved alot more than I managed by hand so I am quite pleased but they are still there which is a pain.
Oh yeh and pics of lamin-x light tint
But all ready for first show next weekend at Bromley

as above in the pics yellow and blue, was suggested by one of the guys on elite car car and by Mat. I also used some Sonus sfx1 for the bird poo! I found it hard to see the swirls as it was cloudy you are not able to see all swirls without some form of lighting but dunno what to use really.
Shame you cannot make inters edition is the biggest show of the year but obviously massive trek for you, people come from Germany and Ireland every year!
My car is not too bad on swirls as I keep it looking good be interesting to do other cars that are not so good!

Cost a fortune about £45 to allow for mistakes (good as I stupidly cut round the light with it facing the wrong way! I have had to tidy the edges up once and now washed the car and need to tidy up another little bit but I should have left more on the edges when I trimmed it.
Its is only very subtle but I like it.

got some new stickers to fit too on Friday!
Went to local bodyshop for quote few bits firstly they ignored the buzzer in reception and the guy seemed like a **** not remotely reassuring after I told him what happened before and just seemed to talk to me like I was an idiot! Think I will try elsewhere!
