ok so here are a few more pics of what has been going on...

firstly here is my turbo in comparison to my standard hybrid (which will be up sor sale soon)

been having problems getting my crank pully off because the bolts have been torqued up so high its a nightmare to come off, the allen bolts are now rounded so need to get the bolt extuder kit onto it and then i can get my bottom end built up. having the wheels painted next week, so exterior should be all done by the end of next week and then another week or two to get my engine finished and in the car to finally get it back on the road!

lol, comes off the A5 3.0l v6 tdi, VW Toureg V6, also other VW/Audi 3.0 tdi engines.

At least the pipe connection looks better on the new turbo. The pipe that comes off the turbo on the PD150 turbo, it's got one of those crappy VAG clips. I was always worried mine was gonna blow off. By the looks of that pic, you can put a nice silicone hose over the new turbo and bolt a jubilee clip on!

Will this turbo be more laggy with it being bigger? Or is this one getting the hybrid treatment too? What are the sort of power expectations from this??

I know I hated that stupid clip on bottleneck pipe thing lol. Well surprisingly the boost kicks in at around the sane rpm,you can have decent spool from 1900rpm. I will be making some tweaks to the turbo so it will b a little different from standard my expectations...its not just the turbo I'm uprating,im doing pretty much all my internals,including mods to my head for lower CR. Expectations are reasonable,will say when its all dine

I bought one but not gna use it anymore as its not necessary,I did some gambit analysis and for what I want the standard cam is more than enough.what I'm gna do is check it every so often for any scaring and if there are obvious signs then I'll change it and go back to the drawing board lol.
