Long time no update haha....
Finally things are back on track, only just got my head back....all ported n polished, faced n wot not.
Crank is still away getting polished and th flywheel is lightened.
Need a clutch what will take some serious power....any suggestions??
Also im after forged rods n pistons 4 the ABF....again any suggestions??

if you're patient mate, the pistons and rods out of an Audi S2 will fit straight in and have the right compression ratio. The S2 engine is essentially the 16v with another cylinder on the end

i'm still looking for some though, they're usually about £130, get them reconned maybe and that's still less than new ones :)
 
Well I sold all the parts on for the Eaton conversion and honestly, no lies.

Me and my friend got bored one day, we took the engine out of his A3 1.8t and put it in this using the gearbox off the ABF engine.
I actually think there's another thread for it somewhere man?

We then both had part ownership in this since we scraped his A3 and built all up in a few weeks.
Made the exhaust and boost pipes ourselves, invested in a QPENG plug & play ECU (awesome bit of kit!)

Then he needed a car more than I did since I had another, so he bought my half off me.
In the end he managed to squeeze around 230-240bhp out of it.

Went wrong and sold it for peanuts on eBay.....I was gutted to say the least!
