I have had that fuel recommended to me to be honest, but there aren't many Total stations near me. I was going to keep a bottle of Miller's Octane additive in case I had to resort to normal 95 RON at some stage, but upon research I read that it won't mix well with Optimax and can create Manganese crystals. So I just make sure she has no less than a quarter tank of Optimax.

This car deserves the best. Gonna sort me some side skirts out soon.

Cheers Ross. I am changing to monthly pay mid Feb, due to being promoted again. Never mind, should be end of Feb, do they come already painted or just primed, dunno too much about them, except that they look evil.

Don't you think black would look good? hehehehhehe I am considering doing mine black, my boca will be white. Could look good.................

Saw a local clown boy racer with a white Civic Type R (last model) and he had black side skirts. It looked too desperate, I think it's better to keep to body colour, looks more subtle. A black roof would be fine in my biew, but the side skirts for me (only my opinion, no harm intended) would look like a work in progress.

It's all about the contrast between the black and red/white, need to get a good balance.

Hi Ed In your very good write up of how the different gear selections can be carried out in the Boca/Cupra/FR , you didn,t mention ,I don,t think ,the set up where you put the car into "D" ,move the lever towards you to put into "+/- mode, then if you wish, change gear using the "Paddles" OR move the Lever "Forwards to go into the next higher gear OR bring it back to "Down Shift". I find this sometimes easier than using the "Paddles" !!!. Which have you found more preferential to use!!.
Bocawata.

I only put the lever into +/- or override with the paddles when I want the paddles. I am too used to keeping my hands on the wheel now, so if I want paddles I do this otherwise I leave it in D or S. But then I suppose when I have given it some beans I've personally never found the need to take my hands away from the wheel cos I feel I don't need to. I'd rather keep 2 hands on the wheel, the car is set up for it, notice how everything can be controlled around the wheel, stereo, cruise control and even the stereo and climate control on the dashboard are angled towards the driver, that's why I consider this a driver's car more than it's competitors.
