Alloy wheel colour

I have a set of audi tt alloys, they are the same as these 300374518497 ebay item number.
Icant decide on what colour to refurb them in. I have a silver ibiza and was thinking that matt black or satin black, any thought on whiich would be best or any other colours that will look good.

Not a big fan of black wheels on a silver car personally.
If I were you I'd do them like a sort of gunmetal colour.
Let us know if you get them done.

I have a spare can of matt black paint. I had rubbed one alloy down and sprayed primer on it, so this morning i sprayed it and will up load a pic later to see what it looks like. Im still not 100% sure on the colour

This is one alloy sprayed matt black as a test. im not sure on it myself.

Perhaps a gun metal colour as suggested above. Less harsh than the black on a silver car imho.

Only on an Impreza.

Yeh tthats the only car ive seen it look good on. I did hove my doubt when that was suggested. I think i will have a mess around with photo shop and see what i come up with.

Haha i was a bit slow there.

Picking up a can of gunmetal paint after work, will get my tester wheel sprayed and see what it looks like.

Well im not sure on that yet, which would be best?. I think i have some left over from other practices i have atttempted.

Just to protect it a bit more really and bring out the shine if that's the sort of finish your after.

Hycote stuff should do the trick.

Gunmetal or Anthracite is the colour you need! Pop into your local bodyshop and ask for a colour swatch - usually a small charge to borrow it but you get a choice of colours in all its shine!
