Right, now im totally fecking confused! Hahaha... I want a nice sounding one, so the Forge and JR filters sound spot on. The Green Dyantwist is a bit naff to be honest, so ill be selling that.

Does the forge one come with a complete kit Dan? Or is it a universal one?

Not sure if its Ibiza specific but everything needed to fit it was included in the £45. Its very similar to the JR Cone filter

I logged, dynatwist open and enclosed, BMC and Jetex one night and found the jetex flowed a lot more than the others.

thats interesting...think I'll be changing to a jetex one then.

I've always thought the dynatwist is a dodgy fit anyway and isn't really secured.

Just called Forge and they dont do a kit that fits supposedly. Won't have until the new year. Where is the Force section, i'll see if that gets me anywhere.

Thats an old pic as well, and its all changing now.

All the blue will be changed for black and i'll be doing some "other" things as well. ;)

Does the JR come with anything to hold it in place? My old k&n filter didnt and sat too close to the battery and melted a little bit on one side!
I like the way the forge one sits with the bracket holding it in place

I have just fitted a forge TIP and a JR filter and i am really impressed with the improvement it has made! i do get a spooling sound now but not that loud really, just wondereing why some peoples cupras spool up really loud with this set up and others not so loud?

It just comes with the filter, i havent got anything holding mine in place its a really tight fit behind the battery, with hardly any movment ive just attached a zip tie underneth just to stop any movment up and down. Phils said hes been running his for about 18months the same way without any problems.

The spooling sound i get frim mine is immense its even more now ive just finished fitting a 100mm cold air feed.

Slightly off topic but is there any major problems when running a feed down the archliner towards the bumper? ive got it quite far up so it shouldnt suck in any water. I did want to put it in the OE position but the 100mm wouldnt fit in

Well i only get a spooling sound between 2-3000 RPM and can only really hear it when the windows r shut and there is no road noise. Any ideas why it is not as loud as others?
