i know you have got these on yours, do they make a really big difference as mine feel slightly spongey and underpowered with having the revo remap

id bid on the first ones , buy it now seems a bit dear , i sourced my calipers n crriers for 82 quid from www.247spares.co.uk , i used galfer discs n pads from quattroman , but if went to eurocar parts im sure 312mm discs and pads at oem spec wouldnt be that expensive , worth checking

yea thanx what bid on the ones at 70 odd quid as they are the full set! what have people done with there old brakes do people upgrade from the really small 1.2 brakes alot or not?

Yes, they make a hell of alot of diference. Really you should have done them before revo, but hey ho. You get a much harder feel to the pedal, and if you stamp on the pedal, you'll stop on a dime, well maybe not that quick, but quick;) You also dont get the abs kicking in as much i found, but just be careful when they are fitted, not to brake hard going around corners, as the back end goes very light, and could switch ends on you, as i have nearly found a few times when i have forgotten to put the ESP back on.

just thinking if i can make some money off mine but dunt seem like it then unless peopel want disks, just an idea will they fit on the rear of the car then it would have serious stopping power

id recommend proper fluid , dot 5.1 or a damm good dot 4 like im on , ask bill brockbank badger5 , for motul rbf600 , quality guff

Nope they wont fit on the back, been discussed before. I managed to sell mine in a job lot to someone of here, along with old downpipe, suspension, smic and brakes. Sold it all for £225 iirc

went for the most noticable change first but now reallise why the cupra has big brakes!!!!! did you fit them yourself? only thing concerened about is brake fluid and getting it conected up and blead properly

Nah, i got a guy called TECHIE to do mine, he lives in northampton, cost £100 but he had done a few of them before, so only took about an hour iirc. You could always take them to a garage i suppose, its just i didnt feel confident enough messing around with important things like brakes.:D
