APC and a detailing brush (APC = All Purpose Cleaner, or can use Fairy Liquid, make sure only on door shuts, as its got good degreasing power, but I would use APC if possible)

as for detailing brush, use one them brushes people use in cooking (to spread butter etc) 75p from morrisons lmao (Indian FTWWWWW)

PS your OCD is nearly as bad as I was with ibiza when I got it, I took the bloody liners out and cleaned it all...who is gonna look there...(no one) but I knew it was there lol

I used Gunk sparingly, erm... AG Intensive Tar Remover (pretty good stuff, degreases well) and fairy as Suj mentioned! Used a paint brush for the Gunk and an old rag for the rest :) Hope it helps!

What liners? :p Tell me about it Suj! I'm finding it hard to control myself at times! I swear this car's making me look a bit... "special"...? ;) especially when I'm explaining what I've done with my day to my girlfriend. I was cleaning my rear light clusters earlier, cotton buds, the reflectors (especially the indicators, orange deposits, few crafty spider carcases) and even the foam seal on the rear.

PS I have work tomorrow. Should keep me out of trouble for a few hours!

Interior

Right, the time came to strip out the majority of the interior. (Sorry if I bore with you this tedious cleaning malarkey :p).

Products Used;
  • AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover
  • 1001 Upholstery and Carpet Cleaner
  • Stain Remover (?)
  • Autoglym Hi Foam Interior mousse
  • Autoglym Fast Glass
  • Medium Hand Brush
  • Stiff Outdoor Brush
  • Few Cotton Buds
  • Vacuum Cleaner

Stripped out the centre console, the gaitors and gearknob, glovebox driver's side, and the little scuttle underneath. Also got out the seats for a scrub (which wasn't a success, will get them steamed at a valeters). There were a few dog hairs lingering about, so it put me at ease knowing that I'd got them all (I hope) :p
