Yeah I did, all sorted now Suj!... I just used a brushing primer on those, and spray can Hammerite.Need to update this actually! Just haven't had much time to do so

Thanks Paul, I used a range of products tbh... I used Gunk to get the worse of the worst off, (the waxoyl? being the worst around the bay, it's EVERYWHERE!) And I used some autoglym degreaser on the pipes etc, fairy in the screen washer bottle, megs polish on the metal, still some work to do on the head though! Before dressing the whole thing, I used some Meguiars Tech wax on the unprotected metal in the bay, along with Autosmart plastic / rubber dressing. Silicone free! (So non-sticky, dilluted 4:1 with water too)
