Sounds awesome mate, really pleased for you. Do you have any traction issues with that much power? I was finding ko3s a bit lairy in the lower gears when it was first done but a less digital right foot and an awareness of any form of moisture/dampness on the road has helped to overcome this.

Also get those brembos on asap! can't believe you have survived on standard setup for so long! :headhurt:

with out a doubt mate, theres alot of timing to be had from better cooling IE WMI.

Dont quote me on this, (im hoping bill will be along to confirm) but its in the region of every 3degs of timing added equals about 10bhp.

The extra timing you can add is not from the cooling of the wmi but from actualy burning the meth as extra fuel (higher octain).

Yeh traction is abit of an issue in anything bar the dry, i`ve booted it a couple of times in the wet and it spins 1st through to 2nd and then about 1/4 of a way through 3rd then grips and goes!

Im off out tonight and its bone dry, should be alot better :D

I havent been on standard setup for long, i used to run 310mm wilwoods but they started to stick so i sold them on with the intention of selling the car, now im not selling up its time to revert back to some decent brakes. I`ve always wanted porsche/brembos over my wilwoods anyway.

Learn somthing new everyday :D Although WMI will have a huge effect on cooling also.

I dont drive mine in the rain so its only there for MOT and the law.

And its actually a lucozade bottle.... :p

Fair doo`s, i wasnt having a pop when i said i like to be neater. Im just picky!

50/50 or 60/40 water/meth will allow some margin on timing to be added as well as controlling egt's better and induction temps..

as a guide when I fitted snow to my ibiza way back... I could dial in an extra 12 degrees timing for the same boost. After a race the inlet manifold was physically cold to touch also.. kept the car on an even keel during the race.

The Devils kits I have coming will be a nice addition to those on higher boost and hybrids..

This is on my soon to-do list bill, could you PM me a fitting price please, also what volume does the tank hold?

Car's looking sweet Benny and the by the sounds of it going just as well.;)

That tank won't last very long for wmi;)

Cheers bud,

Its going pretty well at the moment, need to sort the exhaust manni out tho :(

I didnt think it would, its tiny 1.2l!

Benny, what manni did you use for your hybrid? Was it the one Bill supplies? I was thinking of using the THS manifold, for the price it seems very good value at 180quid and have only heard good things about it.

I am fitting the kinetic one on mine mate. Will let you know how it goes, but Bill seems happy with this manifold so far

Ahhh ok, i didnt know the one Bill supplies is made by Kinetic, just says on the list, High flow manifold. THS are currently out of stock of their mani, so think i'll wait for it to come back into stock. They also do the LCR tip for 90quid which is not too shabby!

I dont know if this choice of manifold is his usual preference....just so happens that this is the one he is getting in to do my conversion

if we do use the kinetic one, which I think we will, I will have the INA manifold up for sale

Yeh, im using a Kinetic exhaust manifold, i did have a few problems with it to be honest as Bill may or may not find out.

First of all the top flanges on the manifold had to be ground down as they where fouling the head, no biggy for me but still i shouldnt of had to do it and secondly the manifold has now cracked although im not totally putting this down to the fault of the manifold - my car had been running pretty lean for sometime with either the help of revo2 or my fuel pump was on the way out or even a mixture of the two, Kinetic seem to think the fact my car was running lean caused the manifold to crack.

Happy days tho.. after i had contacted them with pictures about my problem they have agreed to send another out to me FOC although i do have to cover postage.

David.

Should also have pictures of the new Kinetic manifold this week when it finaly comes out of customs, Once thats fitted along with the Brembos the car should be pretty much back to full strength.

Once the car is sorted after a few problems ive had ill be carrying on with the bay and will get some WIP pictures up.
