Benny, how much did CR turbos charge you to hybridize your ko3? Im thinking about doing thisnext year once i sort out big breaks, suspension and ARB's. Got my old ko3 just sitting about, so will get that hybrided and then sell on the ko3s

Thats a very very good price for what your getting really, especially when JBS and quoting almost double that figure for the same thing.

What other parts did you need for the turbo upgrade?

Off the top of my head i can think of, uprated manifold,225 injectors,LCR fuel pump and 3' MAF hosing

Cant see that lost costing a stupid amount of money really. Mappings not cheap though is it?

yes and from what I have seen, a lot of people dont get the results they expect from JBS either....

Bill is supplying me the whole hybrid package at a very reasonable price compared to other reputable tuner(s) on here.....AND I know it will work very well too

EDIT: mapping is arounf £500 cupramillo

Only thing missing from your list wht i can remember is the LCR TIP.

Off the top of my head your looking at around £1500 mapped up alittle more if you have the likes of bill fit it for you. Works out quite abit cheaper than other tuners packages.

*snigger* i would'nt mind mullering another k0s hybrid again...

its truley amazin how many people slag of the gt2x

yea funny that..
cant imagine why

;)

Hes just calmed down...:headhurt:

Thats such good value for the level of performance your going to end up with. I guess it help alot if you have alot of the base mods already done to the car. Like the majority of the mods that get done to go from ko3 to ko3s, after that, apart from get the hybrid turbo done, there isent really a great deal to be spent on actual parts.

Wish i had gone straight to hybrid now, instead of make it a two step procedure!

I`ve made it in 3 steps! lol

I know where your coming from, if i had know what a slippery slope modding has turned out to be i would have just saved for BT i think, i think im going to be happy with the hybrid now as i wanted somthing quick which isnt going to strain the internals. So im hoping this set up will suit my needs just fine :D

Benny - what model of Jetex did you end up using here?

I'm using the FC-07003 on my k03 at the moment which is rated to 320 BHP but I can't see anything the same size with a 75mm neck?

Very interested to see what the difference is like between the ko3s and the hybrid. Fully understand the fat kid in the sweet shop analogy, I couldn't sleep properly the night before picking up my car from Bill after it had its ko3s fitted ;)

I got this one. http://www.jetex.co.uk/website/conicalfilters.php?insided=80mm

Its an 80mm neck size you will require not the 75mm, its a far bit bigger than the previous jetex i was using - the common one used with the 70mm.

Im hoping the difference is going to be night and day to be honest!

Benny QQ for you - the LCR fuel pump you got from SEAT - did it have a make printed on it?

ECP can provide a Pierburg pump but not 100% whether this is OE for SEAT? Cheers
