took car to jabba today to have hybrid turbo fitted and mapped i just called them to find out how its going and they have fitted turbo ok and the jabba custom lightened single mass flywheel and clutch all thats left to do is fit intercooler and map
That's some list of mods! Makes sense to get them all done at once of you have the cash though. Let us all know how you get on with the mods and map.
cars all done now omg its quick clutch feels more sporty picks up so quick great for quick gear changes they had 229bhp but was way to smokey for me so backed it off to 217bhp and 511nm of torque which comes out at 369lbs i had fun on way home blew loads of cars away from bmws to civic type r new model. Very very happy with results the turbo gauge reads 32 now so more boost before was about 23

Well been driving car Since friday and all good so far. getting used to clutch now Drives really smooth. my mpg goes down to 42mpg when booting it and best i have got so far is 54mpg used to get 60ish. will try and stay off power and see if i can push it up a bit more.

Not worrying about it but while its all bedding in its a good time to experiment with how high i can get mpg. once all bedded in i shall prob be down to 39mpg lol love the power and to be honest once you have that power you want to use it (when safe and legal to do so of course)

Thanks mate, yeah she runs nice I could of had more power but i asked them to back off as was to smokey. They said with a seat sport intercooler and cat bypass pipe it would be less smokey with more power. when i get bored of the power i may do these upgrades. But to be honest i dont think i would need any extra power i want to keep my driving licence

All this talk of hybrid turbos makes me want one too.... Need to get a stage 1 map first though
Not timed it yet will get a stopwatch and mate to time it for me. you will love the stage 1 its a big jump and same jump again with stage 2 is yours diesel? if so the torque jumps loads on stage 1 feels like different car.

fook me thats an impressive list of mods! How much has it all costed you if you dont mine me asking? its something ill be interested in next year when warrently is closer to running out!
For the stage 2 hybrid turbo including single mass lightened flywheel and clutch , hybrid pd150 turbo ,upgraded dogbone mount, forge FMIC and mapping + labour came to £3500. I love the acceloration the torque is mad!!

Yep mines a PD130 Sport. So far I've just concentrated on getting the car to look nicer and now that I'm happy with the way it looks I can start on the engine
. My insurance is up for renewal next month, after that's sorted I'll be getting it booked in for a stage 1 map
I was lucky found a pd150 turbo on ebay for £300 and cause it was in good condition cost me £650 to be made hybrid at turbo dynamics. plus got a good group buy deal from forge on FMIC. it is very insane 100mph comes around very very quick so got to keep eye on speedo so i dont break the law
I havent got any videos as yet as its kinnda hard to take while driving as its so mad need to consentrate on what i am doing. I will try get girlfriend to take a vid of speedo to show acceloration at weekend if i remember.Similar threads
