Yep mines a PD130 Sport. So far I've just concentrated on getting the car to look nicer and now that I'm happy with the way it looks I can start on the engine . My insurance is up for renewal next month, after that's sorted I'll be getting it booked in for a stage 1 map

Nice one, who you gonna get to do it? i went with p-torque for my stage 1 very good torque all through rev range. you will love it, i was still happy with power only reason i went to stge 2 hybrid was cause i found pd150 turbo on ebay cheap.

I'll probably go to P-Torque. It's a great price for the map and before/after dynos....Plus they've had loads of good reviews. Did you have any clutch issues with the stage 1 map?

no my clutch was fine will does good job so it doesnt fook it up. i had stage 1 for over a year. only time i had clutch slip was when i messed gear change up thought i was in 2nd but was in 3rd and hoofed it, nice smell of burnt clutch lol but it was fine. looking at my standard clutch it still looks ok.

its not to bad, poor tires though lol. got to try and remember not to floor it but to start with little bit of power and work up. the extra smoke it makes really gets the back bumper sooty and exhaust just wiped it with cloth and it was black. but i love it so so so fun to drive mate gave me good tip to use wax on exhaust to bild up a barrier so soot doesnt stick.

Not a good day, on the way to work and suddenly i hear loads of air noise coming from drivers side underneath car. got to work and got an RAF machanic to look at car and found that the intercooler pipe that comes out turbo has rubbed against driveshft and made big hole in it. the pipe was held back with cable ties which was a bad idea as heat and plastic dont mix !! they should have cut the forge pipe bit further down so it pulled pipe back a bit from drive shaft. Getting new pipe tomorrow £100 omg just for small u shaped pipe. i called jabba who fitted it and they said sorry for whats happened and will send me cheque if i send them invoice for pipe. which is really decent of them.

I was just wondering what your 0-60 is like and also, it seems to my untrained eye that you've done everything that's deemed necessary to go stage 3, so is that on the cards?

what wax do you put on the tail pipe? i have such problems keeping my milltek clean...i wash it so much, but as soon as i drive it turns black again!

His car is stage 3.....

0-60 depends on how well he can drive it. With a good launch, a hybrid TDi running this sort of power will see low 5's.

I have a friend at work who drives a gt4 (jap import apparently ) and he's only interested in 0-60's hence the question, he was guessing sub 5's.

The turbo's come in two stages of hybrid, 1 & 2. A TD1 is good for 240bhp, whilst TD2 is good for 260bhp.

Hi Mate Sorry Just seen your post, I see your in Swindon just down the road from me, If you wanna see what the 0-60 is like can meet up sometime just PM me and we sort something out. I need to get a CAT bypass pipe for my car then i can get the mapping done abit higher Jabba said miltek sport CATs that i have are restrictive hence 217bhp so when i have paid off credit card shall be getting all this done and see what power i can squeeze out of her lol.

Thought i would do an update on car, I have had few problems at the weekend my drivers side tyre blew and on inspection had big crack on inside wall looked at other side at same thing was happening. Got car booked in for new tyres and 4 wheel laser aligment tomorrow. Also my engine mount on passenger side has failed due to torque. looked for upgrated one but with no luck, so getting OEM one fitted again.

Big Crack in tyre. Was lucky i was going slow when blew.

I am also thinking of changing clutch to a paddle clutch with springs in to stop annoying rattle noise. Anyone got any info of where to get one ? needs to take 380lbs torque or higher.

looking at the state of that tyre,thats been like that a long time your lucky to have not had a serious acciedent. check out the site sponsers for the clutch etc.

I have had tyres on about four months. Boths sides are like it, there was 4 mil tread left from middle to outer edge and bald and cracked on inside edge. I have had susspention kit fitted but never got round to getting 4 wheel alinement done. Getting new tyres and alignement done in morning. Like you said i was very lucky they both didnt blow when i was doing 70mph down motorway. I had just got to my girlfriends when drivers side blew so just came off m5.

I have now got two new tyres and had alinement done all running ok now. Had to have new engine mount fitted on drivers side as it was weak and making creeking sound when accelorating and breaking. Another problem that has just started is car now rubbing undertray when going over dips in road due to drivers side shock getting softer. It's a koni strt kit. Looked on web where I purchased it from and says lifetime warreny so hopefully will get changed only has it fitted about march time so not even year old !!! Will call tomorrow and see what can be done. Apart from that car running really well still loving the power from hybrid turbo still surprises me when overtaking how quick it accelorates went for test drive in the new Ibiza bocronegra 1.4tsi last week and it was alot slower than my car but did love the paddle shift on steering wheel.
