Black angel eyes

Hopefully tonight with some HID shots too!

I have found some flexible white LED strips which I can make rings with, so going to try them and see if they create a better solid ring effect, if not then I'm still happy with the output of what I currently have.

How's the light output with the standard (non-HID) headlight bulbs - comparable to standard headlights, or slightly better/worse? Just wandered as I don't want HID's but like the look of the lamp units.

I reckon black would suit our platinum LCR well.....

Cheers

what about making the lights legal, have you sorted out the lights from pointing / to \ ? I'd be interested in getting these lights but I want them to be legal

Its a myth that projectors cast more light on the road...they actually put slightly less light infront of you but more to the sides of you making the beam wider. In standard form the angel eye lights will probably cast slightly less light on the road than your standard Leon lights though the beam cut off will be far more accurate. With a xenon kit they will cast more light than the standard Leon lights.

That's my reason for asking - clearly the beam pattern is much different with projectors to standard. I don't want to go HID route as they need to be self levelling to be legal, I believe. Alternative would be to fit some slightly brighter standard bulbs to make up the difference.

Thanks for the info - will wait to see what Rob reckons with the results on his :D
