boost issues and engine cutting out?

Hi all

looking for some advise on the following issues

1. I recently did the N249 bypass and at first had no issues but now am noticing the lovely whitsle from the boost whining up get flattening out/dropping off during acceleration - i assumed boost leak but nothing wrong with the pipes i put on the car? and cant see any splits anywhere else???

any advice welcome

2. if i park up and have my ignition on for a while sometime when i start her up the revs go up to 2000 and when they come down to settle they keep falling and it cuts the engine off - if i rev it - it stays idleing as normal??

3. It smells like my car may be running a bit rich? the only mods i have done are induction kit and N249 bypass

have you cleaned your throttle body? solved the problem for me..

loud whistle could be a number of things but normally a boost pipe or exhaust next to the turbo

try a new coolant temp sensor, common fault. 2 min fix

scrap the above, just re read the thread, sounds like a a big boost leak, check intercooler pipe work and vacuum hoses under the inlet mani. also can you take some pics of your n249 bypass and you n75 valve to makes sure everything is correct.

i would be rechecking all your pipes are secure to manifold and anything you have done to the bypasses

When i say whinning - its the normal sound you get hear before the dump valve - so i believe the sound is normal?

but before the boost kept building until it was dumped now the now fluctuates - so im assuming the boost is also fluctuating therefore losing me speed???
