bora suspension same as mk4 golf/leon cupra

guys, have the chance to purchase some weitec ultra ts for a fantastic price, there froma bora 1.9tdi?

now, i know mk4 golf shocks and springs fit the leon cupra, IS THE BORA THE SAME... I PRESUME IT IS.

THE SPRING WEIGHTS WILL MATCH BEING A TDI, SAME SPRUNG WEIGHT AS THE 1.8T?

IS THIS RIGHT ANYONE?

The Weitec's will fit both the Cupra and Cupra R if that's what you were meaning?

Yeah they have the mounting on the strut as well.

They'll still fit but the springs rates are different on the Leon ones compared to the Golf ones.

ive seen others using lcr suspension oem, to lc with no troubles, surely the spring weights are different on them aswell?

Dubmeister are using the old price lists.

The Leon kits are >930kg and 931kg>, the Golf kits are >980kg and 981kg>.

What difference can the spring weight make to the handling of the car?

Would you recommend putting a mk4 suspension kit on a mk1 leon cupra (if it fits) DPM?

On the LCR we actually prefer to put a Golf 4 kit on as the spring rates seem to match it a lot better, any other engine we stick with the Leon kit.

Thats a shame, so you wouldnt recommend putting a Golf 4 on a Leon 1.8T Cupra?

We always rate the Weitec's over the Koni STR.T for both comfort and performance.
