Have you run it at all on this setup yet mate?
Its mine now lol. Still undecided wer to take it to get mapped tho. Obviously bill pops in mind and i will probz end up goin ther. But has anybody heard good things from rs tuning? You ordered you stuff from ina yet james?
Whats that Phil? the manifold? Nope never ran any of it, had a sudden change of heart
On the hybrid setup, or this engine for that matter?
Nope niether! Its going to be good fun finding the problem if it doesnt start lol
lol. I hope it goes alright, I know when i put mine back together i missed a couple of things that were stupid that made it run like crap but you soon sort them out.
When you gettin the bits together for it? I think the 2868 on 1.9 engine is going to be amazing.
MAF inner is 78mm. From the bottom of the tube (internal) to the highest point of the tube itself (where the actual sensor sits against) is 100mm.
I simply Cannot see why people call me a bad influence...![]()
Go for the same 1 as danny. The gt2868r with the hta billet compressor wheel. Good for 400+bhp
I have thought about holding out on the map untill i get wmi but the aem 1 seem more complicated to fit than like a DO kit. But bill doesnt rate the DO kit anymore as he says the pumps are unreliable, but a few ppl on here run them with no issues. And wher do you plumb the nozzle into? Want to install it myself then its less labour im payin as the map is expensive
I am going for the same turbo as Danny but with the bigger hotside.
I would buy an INA sandwich plate to run the nozzle inbetween the inlet manifold and throttle body.
Personally I would go for the AEM over the DO kit.. AEM produce top quality products
