Hi Ash, I was going to use Bill myself as he seems to know the hybrids well. Havent heard anything about rs turning so I cant comment.. I still strongly advise waiting a little longer and fitting wmi before you map it mate.
Just in discussions about turbo specs, just have to ping the money through tonight and then its just a waiting game.

Nope niether! Its going to be good fun finding the problem if it doesnt start lol

lol. I hope it goes alright, I know when i put mine back together i missed a couple of things that were stupid that made it run like crap but you soon sort them out.

When you gettin the bits together for it? I think the 2868 on 1.9 engine is going to be amazing.

Its inevitable really considering how much I have had to change/modify. Its going to be a great feeling if it starts 1st time but im not holding my breath..
I opted for the .86a/r hotside but im hoping the extra displacement will reduce the lag.. Alex has driven HTA's with big and small hotsides and assures me there is very little in it.

Turbo, manifold, oil lines and inline pump should be with me in about 10 days.. Then I just need injectors, map sensor & all the required pipework for the TIP ect.. then I will mock everything up and get it transported to backdraft so alex can do his magic with the dp and load the his old stage3 file on. then fit everything propperly put a few miles on it at actuator pressure then crank up the boost and adjust the map and hey presto.

will be fitting an EBC and diff along the way too.. have no idea when it will be done its more money dependent rather than time.

Go for the same 1 as danny. The gt2868r with the hta billet compressor wheel. Good for 400+bhp :)
I have thought about holding out on the map untill i get wmi but the aem 1 seem more complicated to fit than like a DO kit. But bill doesnt rate the DO kit anymore as he says the pumps are unreliable, but a few ppl on here run them with no issues. And wher do you plumb the nozzle into? Want to install it myself then its less labour im payin as the map is expensive

I am going for the same turbo as Danny but with the bigger hotside.
I would buy an INA sandwich plate to run the nozzle inbetween the inlet manifold and throttle body.
Personally I would go for the AEM over the DO kit.. AEM produce top quality products

Does the aem 1 need a sandwich plate? The DO would be cheper for me for bill to install. I will see. The aem 1 is quality i no. Comes with a boot mounted tank. Il see what funds allow

Controllers are unreliable with DO.. pumps ok if housed inside the car

if mounting an AEM nozzle after throttle you will need to buy a solenoid to avoid the meth being sucked thru
