Terrible weather today. We got soaked through after race one of the BTCC, so have headed back 'home' to dry off and watch it on the TV. And as it's started raining again, we're glad. Not nice having wet feet!

I won't even bother ranting about driving standards, as there's been far too many to remember.

What did you all make of Jones going off in the first corner of race three? Looked like Turks had punted him of but it was probably something innocent like Jones was just too slow and the faster 320si of Turks was being held up. Which one is it likely to be? Because I know Jones it seems was struggling yesterday from the view of the TV camera.

Sad for Eaves. Hopefully this problem with the engine will go by Oulton and it will be the start of a decent run of races which will continue at the track that will see my turn to be among those going - Croft.

Hi guys

Thanks for all your support at the weekend - upshot of a horrible crash is that you get to see some racing!

Car is being nursed back to health as we speak - looking a bit sorry for herself at the moment!

Three lovely touring car drivers came and expressed their sympathy too which made us all feel a lot better...especially as they walked away with their own silverware.

Anyone for YRC membership?! We certainly give you drama!

Also - does anyone know if anybody managed to get footage of our flight? The circuit stuff isn't great and I wanted to put it on our website.

Bad luck Fulvio and Hannah. Car looking great in the pics and the new roof scheme is great. Sadly the blog about tyres and grip becomes slightly irrelevant if all four of them end up in the air!!!!!!!

Hope you protected the no claims bonus You should try to touch Jimmy T for a few more membership subs whilst he's on a high.

As for the Touring Cars, not great for CVR, but some great racing to watch and I must admit I was relieved to be on the sofa and not in the rain this time. Hope to see you all at Oulton if arrangements fall into place.

The insurance company is being very reasonable thankfully! Thommo was great - he had a chat with Fulvio on Sunday and I think there's a certain team mate of ours who'll be signing up this week!

You missed Fulvio's awesome circuit commentary! I'm a bit worried he's going to turn into a media type! Photos of his media debut going up in the gallery later!

I tell you what - that touring car racing's pretty cool to watch! I haven't managed to see a race live for a bit...real shame about CVR - it all seems a bit bothersome - hope they get some more engines sorted soon.
