Have just been a bad boy and ordered some Powerflex rear beam bushes...can't wait for this weather to dry out so I can get them in and whack the RARB onto it's stiffest setting :D

Lol that's always my problem...used to have a £40 a month habit on cleanyourcar when I first got into detailing...!!!

yep same not been on there for a while but come spring I'll be back on. Am so distressed I have not cleaned my car for about 2 months cos of this freezing weather! Hope to get a polisher next year maybe too. I bought two plastic boxes to store all my stuff in in the garage but need to buy another box already!

Parents never get it...or admit to getting it...the times I used to have my old car in bits trying to fit new parts, and I'm an IT Manager by trade, not a mechanic, so needless to say, I'd get stuck a few times. So he'd see me on the driveway (before I moved out), trying to figure something out, and he'd come out, have a quick look, say something along the lines of "you've got a perfectly good car, don't know why you're putting this junk on it..." etc, pretending to be disapproving, then disappear back in...only to appear 10minutes later with his tools (my dad was a pretty sh*t hot engineer/mechanic in his day), and pretty much push me aside he was that eager to get involved! lol

Need to get the car on the RR again, got a nice readout on the Liquid Guage...hit this figure at about 5k in 4rd gear today (I think it was that sort of rev range), still had a bit to go tho :)

Them liquid gauges are pretty accurate, give or take a couple of bhp. Happy if that is the actual bhp of the car?? I spose its mainly how it drives on the road is what counts ;)

Well, it still had a bit to go...I was very rapidly approaching breaking the speed limits when I did that so had to back off, I'd be happy around 230bhp with the mods on the car...does drive good tho.

gonna lower my car this month or maybe next month, funds permitting...is it worth changing any bushes at the same time....to save on labour costs?

seems quite confusing how many different kinds there are

Its worth doing the front wishbone ones so that the alignment can be done properly, stop your tyres wearing out quick. Not sure how much diference these will make, will report back once they're on :)

Ummm there's the upper and lower wishbone ones, I've got superpro poly uppers and the Cupra solid lowers (works out cheaper and a little less harsh than Poly), I think thats the right way around. You can also polybush the ARB bushes, but thats a bit more involved as you have to drop the subframe I believe.
You'll need a 4 wheel alignment after doing the wishbone bushes too.
