super shiny in first pic, looks good they really do make a difference, my old plates were in a right state anyway. I don't see what the big deal about posting up plates is anyone driving or walking past your car can see the plate so what's the big deal. I used to block mine out bout then thought what's the point.
Ive got the dubmeister plates aswell really good wee mod i opted out of the GB band though and used double sided tape stick pretty well!
See the double sided tape didn't work for me only the thick stuff them it stuck out and looked odd, heavy duty Velcro worked for the past year for me, Yeh I got plain ones too but personal preference really.

Trying to decide whether to have it sprayed red to match the car, or black to match the roof, or two tone, black on top and red at the back.

Go black IMO seen photoshops people have done trying to decide on if the vinly the roof and spoiler and it looks odd the spoiler not the same. If you ever take the vinyl off to sell you can stick your old spoiler back on too.
