I had thought about it. They look alright, for the moment, but it's definitely an idea.

You could get some flexible vinyl spray and cover up the plastic and just spray onto the material. I tried this on some spare quarter panels i had and you would not know :D Tenner from Halfrauds for a can

How long ago was this? Has the paint still not peeled off the material yet then?
I thought, if anything, I'd take apart the door (I need to insulate the inside anyway, the plastics vibrate!), and wrap some nice matching black material around those parts, and just staple them on the other side.

The paint is a special type of paint that penetrates the surface and does not come off so it still feels like fabric but makes it a different colour! You wont be able to do what you suggested above cos the inserts are glue welded onto the door cards :(

Just thought i warn you before you try do do them while they are still on the car. It is best to take the quarter panels and door cards off to do this cos there will be a fair bit of overspray!

Okay guys, finally got my Beethy's trick mod in.

A brand-spanking-new (near enough, anyway) MkV Ibiza Cupra interior, courtesy of Mr. Ibizaracebrake!

Not much to say in this post, I simply removed the old seats, and replaced them with the new ones! Rather interestingly, the new Ibiza has the exact same seating and fitting arrangement as the older MkIV, despite being based on a new platform!

Gave the car a good old clean while the seats were out, as well.

Here are the rears, fitted.

And of course, the lovely, lovely fronts!

This was a group effort with help from some members on here, so thanks a lot guys!

I absolutely adore those seats, they look fantastic :D

The MK5 chassis is suppost to be a modified MK4 chassis so i wasnt too suprised they fit perfectly. I love those seats, i'd love something like that for my ride

Its really nice to see another 1.2 S on here, I love the colour, quite a rarety in the MK4

Keep up the good work

That would explain a lot. Amazing, it looks so, so different - yet it's a similar platform. There's engineering for you. I've seen a similar colour on Skodas and Polos, but never a Seat, now you mention it.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Will bear the doorcard thing in mind!

Well I still think the MK4 is the absolute business, don't get me wrong the boca and cupra MK5s look nice but I just adore the MK4, it looks so alfa-ish (although its the same designer) kind of like a sexier 147. Yeah that colour is fairly popular on older golfs/polos but never SEATs, it suits it quite well. Nice to see a Mk4 that isn't red heh

Yeah the doorcards/cotton part needs replacing, that'll finish off the interior really nicely

Keep up the good work

Gawd, I love the MkIV Ibiza. Best looking small hatch of the early 2000's - it's one of the reasons why I got it! I prefer the MkIV to the MkV a lot - so much more character, so much brawnier. However, that being said, I loved Ibizaracebrake's MkV Cupra, the one I got the seat's out of - mean and low, with bucket seats. So mean and slick.

Looking beautiful! Next mod should be some cream seat belts if they are available?
Not for me, thanks :D I don't quite see where cream fits in there!

EDIT : Maybe you meant to go with the stitching? Don't trust the pictures, it's the compression! The stitching's white, in fact. And I'd hate to think about how dirty seatbelts would become before long!
