How long will it be before there is a video of exhaust!? Want to order mine this week and see what resonated cat back sounds like

As soon as I can be arsed to fix my camera! Or until one of my mates let me borrow theirs
It isn't loud at all, which for me is perfect. Can't hear it in the car with windows up, just the whistle of the turbo

Outside the car is a different story, believe me. The Leon has proper sound isolation, lower your windows and take a spin (best enjoyed with narrow streets and tunnels hehe)

I drive everywhere with my window down, yes you can hear it but even so I still wouldn't say it was too loud. Neighbours may not think so at 3 am lol. I had a 2.5" supersprint on my old car and that was loud so maybe my new one just seems quiet

What would you guys recommend for a TDI? Resonated or Non Resonated cobra Catback? 2004 110hp if that makes any difference?

I guess this is the place to post due to the vast exhaust discussion in here...

I am contemplating a new exhaust for my LC (well, may be forced into it due to MOT...) and was wondering what peoples thoughts were.

Last year I bought a new cat (original) so would mating a resonated exhaust (milltek or cobra) to this create much of a change in sound, or would I have to get a non-res to create any kind of difference?

Non res mate the resonated is designed to sound stock u might get minimal noise

The centre silencer is very small and i dont think it makes a huge amount of difference i went for the non res system and its not to noisy at all if you get the de cat i would advise centre silencer though i am happy with my cobra system looks good

Lol thats not true, I went for a resonated catback and it sounds waaaaayyy beefier than the stock exhaust. Im pretty happy with the sound, but will be ven more happier when a bigger DP + cat will be fitted.

Yea with a 3in dp and sport cat sounds nice no drone at motor way speeds realy raws out when u give it some I love it
