Color matching door mouldings on a black Ibiza

Hello, this is my first post on the forum. I'm looking to color match the plastic door mouldings on my black mk4 Ibiza. My question is, do you have to use the factory color code or is regular gloss black close enough so it won't look wrong? If anybody's done this on their black Ibiza please let me know

Hi, I used a dye called forever black, took 10 mins to do, as the door mouldings on mine looked grey, as they are textured paint might not work too well, it helped make them show up less.
