Gents,

I have a bit of a novice question. I want to replace my rear wiper with the fabio one that's mentioned in this thread.

I appreciate the fitting comments but how does the plastic cap come off so i can get at the nut securing the wiper arm? I assume i got to pull it off but it feels pretty tough to pull off. dont want to snap or crack it.

any advice is very much appreciated. thanks!

IIRC the cover just flips back (its on a hinge) towards the drivers side.Take the nut off and ease the the arm off. It will probably be stuck and may need a little persuasion due to corrosion. WD40 it, wiggle it, tap it etc. The arm should then eventually come off.

The whole thing works much better than the original arm and looks much cleaner too.

:)

+1

Just flip the plastic cap up then pull it off. My old arm was siezed onto the splines, took a lot of persuasion to get off without bending the shaft! Just wiggle it and it will come off eventually.

Gents,

The seller for the fabio wiper blade set just emailed me back saying it wont fit my seat leon 2003.

Im not a bit confused...

Where did you purchase yours from?

Cheers!

Hi all,

Recently my leon fabia wiper has deteriorated and so the rubber has fallen off. To note, I made the mistake of buying the short wiper but it did the job of cleaning the rear windscreen because I'm not that tall!

I cant seem to find another replacement wiper from anywhere.

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase the wiper please?

On the other hand, I came across this fabia estate wiper blade kit which will clear the whole of my rear screen instead of half of it.

Does anyone know if this will fit my seat leon Mk1 2003 model?

Thanks in advance!
