Courtesy Car Question - Your experiences ??

You have to insure the courtesy cars with FRF Swansea and Holders in Congresbury (Somerset). Its no real problem, as long as the car is the same or lower insurance group as the insured car most insurers won't make a charge. The temporary cover runs alongside your own cars cover so both are insured.

Digging up this old thread. Been told that I need to get the Mechatronix unit replaced as I have been having intermittent DSG problems. Told them I am going to be working away on and off for a while, so can I get a courtesy car, the reply was that they don't have one available for the next two weeks. Checked my All In warranty and the small print is you can have one " If available" . What in all that is holy use is that? Told it is okay as I have recovery??? So I am away for a week, car finally gives up the ghost and it gets recovered to the Stealers, Leaves me miles from home and needing to get from Hotel to site for the remaining time, then get back home. Absolute rubbish.
