Cruise Control, Leon Cupra. Please Help

Iv done a search but didnt find anything

Can someone help me, how comes the Leon Cupra comes with the cruise control leaver but doesnt actualy di anything?

do i have to get it programed in or something, how do i make it work?

thanks alot for any help.

It doesn't come with the cruise control lever as standard - It wasn't a standard feature, but an added option. However - if it doesn't work, it's probably been retro fitted, but not enabled on the ECU.

Retro fitting CC usually costs about £200 for all parts and labour to fit/enable it.

I did say "about" £200.... obviously prices fluctuate from place to place and over time ;)
Anyway, he wasn't asking about cost, so i don't think it matters hehe

Yeah, i have all the functions on the indicator stalk such as res - on - off and set.

cheers for the cost aswell :D

If its not working it could be something simple as the brake pedal or clutch pedal switch being faulty, or as Pabs said it may not of been activated in the ECU for it to work. need VAG com to check this out first.
