Beautiful mate. Mines here ready for delivery on the 26th. God I hope it comes with coast to coast lighting and dynamic signals. Hopeful as your reg is pretty much the same as mine apart from 2 letters
Mine unfortunately arrived without dinamic indicators. But the car is still so cool.

I ordered a vz3 last Oct, still no build date. Does that mean I will get buttons on the steering wheel or the car I ordered? Steering wheel mode buttons would be a major plus for me!
They have said that the VZ3 models now come with super-sport steering wheel which is the engine start button and drive profile button on the steering wheel. The email below came from a customer relations manager at SEAT UK.

Glad to hear of any ehybrid movement! Hope that the date sticks and you get it, and may the Seat ehybrids follow on shortly
If they date doesn't stick, I cancel my order. 13 months is my absolute maximum of waiting for my car. I did not buy a personalized Bentley or Rolls-Royce but a mass production car. If I have to wait longer, I'm getting in trouble. My wife's car is already sold, and mine will be switched for my wife's new car next year. But when the Cupra is not delivered in October, my mileage will be going over the maximum we agreed with the dealer where we bought my wife's new car and I'm going to lose a lot of money.

For Seat, as I understood, they are going to prioritize countries where taxation will be changed in 2023. If your country does not change taxation of hybrids in 2023, you will have to wait at least until Q2 of 2023. But that's if I recall correct and if my dealer is honest about it.

Cupra Leon 310 ST - ordered December 7th, preliminary build week is 27, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Okay, so confirmed build week 35, seems like a real deal, dealership estimates week 37-38 delivery. Will be MY2023, should come with matrix LEDs (or at least progressive blinkers, not sure if the same thing) and 12" screen.

Cars arrived, only had a quick play so far getting everything setup.

Only quibble so far is I don't like the space for my phone, I feel that it will fly out of the tray plus need a shorter cable as it's quite messy as it stands.

Proper drive tomorrow to work will hopefully give me a better idea how it stacks up

Phone's a non issue then, just popped out to fill the tank, didn't bother to plug phone in coming back as it's only up the road and was surprised when YouTube music started playing, wireless Android auto it seems 🤣 didn't expect that, only issue is it defaults to comfort drive profile

They had issues with them coming loose and catching fire , you should get one when they have redesigned them I think.
For anyone else who has taken delivery - have you been missing an engine cover??? View attachment 33223
If I recall correct, it's an issue at Skoda Octavia, VW Golf, Seat Leon, Cupra Leon, Audi A3 and Audi Q3. But they can't produce the correct ones cause of problems with the material delivery.

The engine cover is the subject of a safety recall across all VAG brands. It’s recently been discussed on the Cupra Formentor website.

Someone over on VWROC.com forum recently posted that a revised engine cover has now been produced - with revisions to the design of the attachment points. These are now made of a harder plastic than before, creating a tighter fit with the fixing points on the engine block, so eliminating (or significantly reducing) the risk of the cover coming loose.

I dare say it’ll take a while for the roll out of replacement covers and getting these fitted to owners‘ vehicles.

I hope your correct, as Auto Express wrote 2 weeks back that the fix was to not replace them, and you know how Cupra\VW like to save cash.

Just seen this post over on VWROC.com, posted earlier this morning;

“I heard a rumor that despite the fact that they already have a re-designed cover (I sent pictures previously), there have been many cases of performance models catching fire due to it (RS3 specifically, but maybe also others) so they are refraining from any cover on the high-powered vehicles at this point, and just replacing the new version on less powered cars (Tig’s and others).

Mine came with no cover as well.
Spoke to my VW garage manager (while repatriating my car) and he said that it seems safer this way, and that even if I do get one, he’d recommend for me to keep it aside somewhere to avoid unnecessary risk.”

So, it could be that high performance models may not be getting a revised engine cover after all. 🤷‍♂️🤔

Does anyone know what build week 56 means? Last I checked a year has 52 weeks, so not sure what time Week 56 slot refers to...
At least I finally got some update on when it might be built

My dealer expects delivery in 2 or 3 weeks. Because of my handicap, the car is now at the specialised company to adapt it for my needs. Normally it takes one week, than all paperwork and after that I can go pick up. It will be exactly one year of waiting for my Cupra Leon ST Hybrid.

I ordered the car back in september 2021, and still no information when the car will be built or delivered. My salesman never got any new information for me, seems like cupra wont give out any information to the salesman. Dont know if it is the towbar that causes this extra long delay, or Sweden is just less prioritized.
